The album Arise is the best.

Opeth performed this album in its entirety for a dvd called "Lamentations: Live at Sheperd's Bush Empire." Closure in particular stands out, for me anyway. I think it will give you some of that heavy metal release you were looking for throughout the record. This is one of my all time favourite albums, cool to see it get a 100/100!

YES! I don't usually do that BUT I urge you to listen to the whole Beneath The Remains album as it is hands down the best thrash album of all time.

If you haven't already heard it I highly recommend the MTV Unplugged album, it's my favorite AiC release ever.

You don't get any more talent, communication of mood, instrumental perfection and sheer emotion and wide ranging musical virtuousity then OPETH. And Akerfelts vocals are so intricate and perfectly, meticulously chosen that it's as perfect as a band can be.

You've had to keep it mind they're Brazilian metal band that's why you hear some percussion section in refuse/resist and roots bloody roots as well also they're known for adding tribal instruments into their music at least in early days was it when cavaleras brothers were part of sepultura.

It was the most enjoyable "Dead Embryonic Cells" reaction i ever watched. I'm from their hometown in Brasil called "Belo Horizonte" (translation: "Beautiful Horizon). You should react to "Desperate Cry Live", "Attitude Live in Ozzyfest", and Rattamahata. And watch Dead Embryonic live in Barcelona, it blow you away. Brasil summoned 🇧🇷

One thing you will notice about ST and the DK's and alot of mid 80s punk is the Reagan thing.... reagan was the president that laid the groundwork for what you see in america today... and a lot of people saw it coming and punk bands sang about it A LOT... just in case you were wondering why he keeps coming up in songs... P.S. I wore out soo many casettes of this album.. there isn't a bad track and is sooo replayable..

This is the best of Sepultura! ok I love Troops of doom :-) Sepultura with the Cavalera brothers and Andreas skill in music is fantastic! Been a Sepultura fan since I got Arise in 91... sorry but lost intrest when mr green showed up...

I trust someone in the comments here or on PATREON already mentioned/explained the whole Fibbunaci Sequence rearranging of the song order that makes the album flow better and more fitting in the changeovers from song to song.

Great songs! I like those three. Could you please react to the band Death? Either the song "Pull the Plug" or "Left to Die". Death is a band that helped birth and shape a new metal genre (death metal) after thrash metal (Metallica, Megadeth).
